Dance With Me

In Blog by Karen Brown

Hi, would you like to dance?

Well, you know a lot of people have turned me down. I really am a great dancer. You see, I created the love dance. I know that it has been a long time since you have danced. I’ll put it this way; it’s been a while since a real man has asked you to dance. I know how to hold you and I know how to whisper great and mighty things in your ear. I have special secrets to share with you and only you. I’ve been actually watching you dance with those other guys. Shall I say those other “gentlemen”? They put up a really good act, but the truth be told, they can’t dance They have been perpetrating and have not been sure of their steps.

You have been dancing with them and some them were off key, off note, and off of the dance floor. I know you and I have been watching you. Will you dance with me? Let me show some smooth moves, some special dips, and great twirls. I can hold your hand and won’t let you fall. There are great dances out there, but how many can take you places you have never been before? Yes, I’ve been sitting and watching and watching and sitting. Now, I ask can I be your dance partner? Sure, there may be some steps you have not taken before, but trust me, trust me. I know that already. Believe or not, I knew you before you were born,I have them already mapped out.  The songs of the music played will come out of your heart and through your mouth.

As you know, I am your Father, your husband, your daddy, your friend. I see all. I know when the ones you danced with, left you at the dance floor, to dance with another whom they thought was prettier, cuter, sweeter, and richer. I know when they said they were only your dance partner, but they were at another party or dancing privately with another.

I say again, dance with me. Great music, great fun, great food, great company. What more can you ask for in a love relationship? Yes, there is another waiting to dance with you. He has been praying and watching, also. He is studying you and looking forward to your dance time together.  Actually, he has been practicing his dance steps. He sees where he needs to slow down and pick up the pace a little more. So, relax and know that while you are dancing with me, he is dancing with me too.

Take a minute and position yourself. I have some more moves we are about to make. The other dancers haven’t seen anything, yet.

You see when you dance with the one who created you, you are already on the right step. He can take you places and do things with you that others dream of-let Him have your heart and he heals you so you can be free to bless others. The joy of the time of being single and saved is that you can spend time with him on a date and it does not have to end. You can go to the movies and laugh with the kids and eat M&Ms, Skittles, and eat James Coney Island, then eat ice cream and not wonder how he really feels. You know they love you and they truly enjoy your company. The comforter is there just for you!
